The realtor called us yesterday with a couple more apartments to look at. We headed out early trying to beat the rain that was predicted for late afternoon. The first apartment was in Mitaka. Mitaka station is a perfect location for us as it's centrally located and services many other train lines. We saw the apartment and liked it, so now we are working on the paperwork. Lord willing there will be no complications and we can get moved in quickly. Here's a picture.
There are two rooms besides the kitchen and the bathroom area, pretty small but all apartments here are small and expensive. Besides, we have no furniture so we'll only buy what fits! The building has parking for a car and bike so we're good. We will see if this opens up for us or not, but I hope so!
We also explored the surrounding neighborhood a little. And took a break in a little park.
Shortly after these pictures were taken, it started to rain and rain almost all night long. This morning it is sunny but super windy outside, at least no more rain!
