Where in the world?!

Eleven days ago I left Japan. We had to return Stateside for a few weeks while we finish up immigration paperwork before we return to Tokyo.
Apparently I don't do jet leg well as the last eleven days have a lot of blurred spaces in them but the basics are these.

We left at noon on Jan. 26th from our house in Tokyo, we took a bus to a train to a bus to a plane and we finally landed in Los Angeles at NOON on Jan. 26th! No that isn't a typo...it's time travel and banned in all Sci-fi movies for good reason!  We had a seven hour layover in LA so some friends, (thankyou, Ashcrafts!)picked us up at the airport and gave us a whirlwind tour of LA and Santa Monica. We hit In-n-Out Burgers and the Pier it was great! Then we headed back to the airport and after a delayed flight we took off and arrived in Albuquerque, N.M. around 11:00pm ..STILL Saturday, the 26th! Gary did the math and figured we spent about 42 hours on Saturday the 26th! without sleeping, apart from a couple of hours on the plane trip.

Thanks to our very kind Pastor, we were booked for a couple of nights at the Sheraton Airport Hotel.

I hear it was a gorgeous hotel, and I know we went the next morning to the area church because Gary was preaching , but pretty much I slept and was fuzzy headed most of the time. I do remember the people in the church were very nice and took us to eat at Fuddruckers!
On Monday, Pastor and Patsy came to pick us up and took us back to our hometown church in Las Vegas N.M.  home of the original Red Dawn movie.

We spent two days there getting luggage from storage to take back with us to Japan and visiting with friends. We collected our little Chevy Cavalier, stuffed it so full of stuff that we looked like traveling gypsies!

Okay, maybe not quite that bad...we are only allowed two suitcases and a carryon...but it FELT like that!

On Wed. we drove to Trinidad, Colorado and Gary preached the evening service there. It's always good to visit with the folks there!

The next morning we headed on to Denver, Co where we have been enjoying visiting three of our children! Yay!

We did take a trip up and back to Ft. Collins, Co. as well on Sunday as Gary was preaching there.
After typing this out, I can see why it took me so long to get over Jet Lag!
As they say in my land....(Wisconsin, in case you're wondering)
UFDA!!!!
